Challenge and Resolution
- Due to the locations of the company’s sites, this has been a historically difficult area to recruit in, paired with fast paced, physical work we implemented a bespoke and targeted recruitment strategy to ensure full coverage.
- When the contract commenced, we deployed colleagues from our mobile and support teams to the sites to supplement the uplift in guards for the company until full recruitment had been finalised.
Goals & Highlights
- The company wanted a security partner that would integrate into their operations and become part of their culture.
- All security colleagues were provided with the company’s branded uniform and TCFM aligned our values to those of the company to ensure every colleague feels like an integral part of the company.
- Security Manager John Ward transferred to TCFM as part of the TUPE process and previously worked solely within the gatehouse.
- We worked alongside the company and John to make his role a true management role not only supporting our colleagues but working alongside the customer to deliver important projects.
Innovation
- TrackTik: TCFM implemented our patrol management software, TrackTik, once the contract went live. We committed considerable time into delivering comprehensive training on its features and advantages to help alleviate reservations the transferring team held about this technology. Within just a few shifts the team realised the considerable time and effort saved through our suite of technology, and embraced the integration of TrackTik and its associated benefits.
- Visitor Management System: We implemented Sign In visitor management system to replace the old paper system that was not fit for purpose. This system has received great feedback from customer stakeholders and provided an auditable, digital and effective solution.
