Innovations

  • Toucan Eco Harsh Chemical Alternative
  • TCFM Standard Innovation Total Compliance

Outcome & Evidence

  • Toucan uses electrochemical activation and salt to create a powerful, multi-purpose cleaner and disinfectant that kills up to 99.9% of germs and bacteria, including E. coli, MRSA, Listeria, and Coronavirus.
  • Scientifically proven and non-hazardous, even if accidentally consumed, Toucan offers a safer, sustainable alternative to traditional chemicals.
  • It eliminates chemical residues, reduces waste and carbon impact, and removes the need for frequent deliveries or extensive storage.
  • When TCFM introduced Toucan to their sites, the goal was to eliminate up to 90% of harsh chemicals, particularly the Selden sanitising spray.
  • Today, Toucan has replaced nearly all chemical cleaners on their premises, with only limescale remover and floor cleaner remaining.
  • Producing a full audit trail with robust vetting and right to work checks that cannot be overridden to provide an additional layer of security.
  • Improved reporting and accountability with joint sign offs and clear next steps.
  • The customer conducted ATP testing to see how Toucan performed against the Selden sanitiser.
  • Selden spray took three attempts for the ATP to be low enough to be considered a pass, while Toucan, in comparable testing, passed the ATP test on the first attempt.
