Challenge and Resolution
- Due to the nature of their offices, involving customers, visitors and partners, it is essential for their offices to remain clean, well maintained and professional. TCFM has been entrusted with ensuring that each office is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, reflecting this estate agent excellent reputation.
- Mobilisation and TUPE Challenges: TCFM were awarded the cleaning contract for this estate agent after their previous cleaning provider went into administration. Along with this, we took on the existing cleaning colleagues via TUPE. However, some colleagues chose not to transfer, creating immediate colleague gaps during mobilisation. One of the primary challenges was to swiftly recruit new colleagues across multiple sites to maintain service continuity. By using our in-house talent acquisition team, we quickly recruited high-quality colleagues, adjusting pay rates based on local benchmarking. This quick mobilisation allowed us to fulfil all vacancies efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to Slater Hogg’s operations.
- Ongoing Service Delivery: Our commitment to high service standards is demonstrated through regular site visits and validation checks. Every quarter, we conduct at least one physical audit at each site along with while monthly telephone audits to ensure consistent quality and open communication with their stakeholders. These measures help us maintain transparency and address any concerns promptly, while also reinforcing our strong, long-term relationship with the customer.
Goals and Outcomes
- At the start of the contract, all hard floors in customer-facing areas received a thorough deep clean, ensuring a polished and welcoming environment. These areas are maintained through cleaning twice a week at all sites in Scotland, including regular mopping to keep floors free from debris and stains.
- Additionally, all electronic equipment and furniture within the estate agency are cleaned and sanitised twice a week, ensuring a hygienic, safe, and professional space for both colleagues and customers. This consistent maintenance will uphold high standards of cleanliness throughout the office.
