Our work with one distribution customer on the mobilisation of their new 388,000 sq ft distribution centre in Derby is a prime example of our capability. This was a greenfield project, and we were brought in to prepare the post-build warehouse for operations. This involved:
- A Series of Deep Cleans: Our teams worked through the night to remove extensive building dust and residue from all surfaces, bringing the site hygiene up to a BRC-acceptable standard.
- Working on a Live CDM Site: The site was still under CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations, requiring us to amend our risk assessments and provide 5-point PPE to all our colleagues to ensure they could work safely.
- Meeting Tight Deadlines: We successfully prepared the site for service to start, working around the ongoing construction operations to ensure a seamless handover.
We also supported another distribution customer with the launch of two brand new facilities, including a BREEAM Outstanding rated site. Our involvement began during the construction phase, where we provided comprehensive builder’s cleans to remove debris, dust, and residue. As the site neared completion, we carried out detailed sparkle cleans to deliver a polished, high-standard finish across all areas, ensuring the sites were handed over in pristine condition and ready for colleagues from day one.
