Created over 30 years ago, the biennial Golden Service Awards (@GoldenServAward) is today one of the most prestigious events and sought-after accolades in the FM and cleaning industry. The event provides the opportunity for FM companies, contract cleaners and in-house cleaning teams to showcase excellence performed under unprecedented challenges, setting the benchmark for exceptional standards.

Awards were presented to winners across 18 categories at a formal ceremony on 21 May at the Hilton Park Lane, London, hosted by one of the UK’s most popular comedians and actors.

Judging was independently overseen by the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc).

Neil Spencer-Cook, Group Managing Director at BICSc, said:

“The increase in first-time applicants was great to see, with more new names investing and sharing in acknowledging our industry talent. Once again there was a strong focus on staff development and welfare, with ESG standing out as a priority. It was a pleasure to see the passion and drive, plus the innovative thinking in the industry shining through. These are well-deserved finalists who should feel proud of their achievements and excited about the part they will play in the future of their industry.

“The quality of the entries keeps getting stronger year by year with the 2026 line-up pushing standards with smart forward thinking and progressive techniques. This included a more focused approach to valuing staff, improving working conditions and supporting mental health care. What was also clear was the commitment to go that extra mile, together with an ever-increasing rise in diversity.

“The judges were once again very impressed with the site visits which demonstrated high efficiency. The interviews with candidates for Site Supervisor and Cleaning Operative of the Year clearly showed inspirational enthusiasm for their jobs, employers and colleagues. Congratulations to all those who received a finalist nomination and the very worthy winners.”

The judges commented on TCFM’s partnership with Mundipharma:

“This site is truly impressive, there’s far more going on here than meets the eye! Everything runs like clockwork, and every type of cleaning is carried out to an amazing standard.”

David Punter, Sales & Marketing Director ] at TCFM, added:

“Being recognised at the Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards means a great deal to all of us at TCFM. It reflects not just excellent work, but the heart, commitment and care our colleagues bring every single day.

Our team at Mundipharma operates in one of the most demanding cleaning environments, where every action contributes to product integrity and ultimately customer safety. Many of our colleagues have supported this contract for more than a decade, and their dedication shines through in this iconic achievement.

I couldn’t be prouder of the partnership we at TCFM have built with Mundipharma, or of the trust they place in us to protect through our security offering and cleaning though our soft service FM provisions within such critical facilities. This award belongs to every colleague, every customer and every community we serve.”
