TC Facilities Management are currently recruiting for a Assistant Accountant, this is a full time position which will be hybrid working, initially on a temporary contract with the possibility to go permanent for the right person.
Job Purpose
Take responsibility for completion of specific tasks to support the Finance Team in the production of the Monthly Management Accounts and the operation of central finance processes.
What you’ll be doing?
- Assist in the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts.
- Process Weekly Payroll journals, update gross pay analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Process additions and disposals on the Fixed Asset Register and update associated reconciliations.
- Responsible for Asset Financing Reconciliations against Finance providers’ statements.
- Upload customer invoices to invoice discounting portal and update internal systems accordingly.
- Process employee expense claims in line with company policy to ensure accurate cost recording, expense approvals and VAT recovery.
- Provide regular financial information on internal factors, analysis of financial information and reconciliation of allocated general ledger accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy of underlying financial data.
- Process current account daily bank transactions for two legal entities.
- Preparation of Office for National Statistical returns on a monthly basis.
- Support the Sale Ledger, Credit Control, Purchase Ledger and other administrative areas to ensure that Team goals and priorities are met.
- Assist with system administration setting up new suppliers on accounting and purchase order system as requested.
Role Requirements:
- Financial background
- AAT Diploma
- Study towards CIMA or ACCA/part qualified accountant
