Site Manager

TC Facilities Management are looking for a Site Manager to join a busy Distribution Centre in Leeds.  You will be responsible for the effective management of the facilities management service for the site, working in partnership with the client 
 

Major Accountabilities:

  • To demonstrate the TC values and lead by example at all times.
  • To plan and manage resource to maximise performance and service delivery within defined budgets and customer specifications.
  • To build positive relationships with the client in order to effectively resolve any issues for all concerned.To deliver all lines of the Distribution Centre P&L.
  • To cascade Company targets, KPI’s and objectives to the on-site Management team ensuring understanding of expectations and measurement.
  • To ensure effective team-working through structured meeting disciplines allowing for business reviews and clear communication cascades.
  • To coach, develop and mentor the on-site Supervisory team to deliver objectives and targets.
  • To review audit reports and work with the on-site Supervisory team to rectify issues promptly and identify best practice solutions ensuring feedback to the wider business teams as appropriate.
  • To identify areas for continuous improvement across the business and make recommendations on best practice ensuring feedback to the wider business teams as appropriate.
  • To develop a solid understanding of the market place and competition in order to identify areas for commercial growth.
  • To ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted accurately and on time.
  • To carry out quarterly performance reviews with on-site Supervisory team. 
  • To be the custodian of the TC brand and ensure this is reflected in the image and appearance of all team members.
  • To recruit internal and external talent for on-site Management positions and provide endorsement for site recruitment ensuring adherence to TC recruitment processes and standards.
  • To identify and develop internal talent within the Distribution Centre, creating a strong succession plan for future vacancies.
  • To champion and lead project work for the business as required.
  • To promote a culture of recognising and valuing diversity
  • To adhere to all company processes, policies and procedures
  • To hold Listening groups with the staff as and when required
  • To hold monthly meetings with the supervisory teams
